The pump volute must
be made of cast iron with a vertical discharge port, grade FG 260 of IS 210/ISO
186. The pumps must have a non-clogging, semi-open impeller made of cast iron
(standard supply), CF8 or CF8M, and be able to pump liquids up to 50 degrees
Celsius.

The pump shaft must
be constructed from stainless steel in accordance with ASTM A582 and grade AISI
410.

Pump shaft sealing
must be carried out using a double mechanical shaft seal made of carbon,
ceramic, NBR, or AISI 304. On the pump side, the mechanical shaft seal material
must be SiC, SiC, Viton, or AISI 316 for engines up to and including 1 HP.

The pump must be
made for non-explosive, non-aggressive liquids, including sewage and effluent
water with particulates.
